Minced Meat Bourekakia

Crunchy and delicious bourekakia for any time of the day and any occasion! Whether it's for parties, appetizers, holidays, or wherever else you want! We prepare and bake them just before we need them!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of phyllo dough
  • 2 large onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, grated without peel and seeds
  • 500g mixed or beef minced meat
  • 300g mixed cheeses
  • 50g fine semolina
  • 3 eggs
  • Olive oil
  • ½ liter milk
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Egg white for sealing the phyllo sheets
  • Sesame seeds for sprinkling

Directions

In a large saucepan, saute the minced meat, then add the onion. Add the grated tomato and let it simmer for 10 minutes. In a saucepan, heat the milk and add the semolina.

Stir until it thickens into a cream. Let it cool slightly, then add the eggs, stirring well with quick motions. Next, add the cheeses and minced meat, and mix well.

On a clean surface, spread out all the phyllo sheets together. Cut them in half exactly in the middle, and then again in the middle (mentally cut them vertically and horizontally... like a cross). You have now created square pieces of phyllo. Wrap each piece using the same technique as you would for spring rolls.

Bake them in the oven on a greased baking sheet at 180°C for 20-30 minutes until they turn golden brown.
