Recipe-Ingrediants

In Greece bougiournti is usually the name given to a document with unpleasant financial content.
In cooking, it is a baked feta cheese in a clay dish with cheese and pepper that melts in the oven. It's ideal for a quick appetizer for friends, and more. And if you have fresh sourdough bread... then you're a king!

Ingredients:
1 piece of feta cheese, cut into cubes

2 ripe, firm, peeled tomatoes, diced

1 red pepper, sliced

1 hot green pepper, finely chopped

oregano

grelia olive oil

1 clay dish with a lid or aluminum foil

Directions

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius in a fan-assisted oven.
Spread the diced tomatoes on the bottom of the clay dish, followed by the hot green pepper, sliced red Florina pepper, and then the cubed feta cheese on top.
Drizzle plenty of olive oil and sprinkle with plenty of oregano.
Bake for about 15 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the vegetables have softened.
Serve with toasted sourdough bread.

-If you don't have a clay dish, spread a piece of aluminum foil on a deep plate and another piece of foil on top of it, then follow the steps and make sure to seal it tightly to prevent the liquids from spilling.
-This recipe can be varied with other ingredients, such as cherry tomatoes, graviera cheese, smoked cheese, and spices like cumin, paprika, thyme, etc.
