Ingredients:
100g white tarama
4-5 fresh onions, finely chopped
½ bunch of dill, finely chopped
½ bunch of mint, finely chopped
1 dry onion, finely chopped
2-3 slices of stale bread
1 tsp baking powder
Pepper,
flour, and
olive oil for frying
In a pan, lightly saute the onions, followed by the dill and mint. In a bowl, add the bread (soaked in water and well drained). Mix in the tarama and knead the mixture. Place it in the refrigerator for an hour to firm up and allow the flavors to meld.
Shape the mixture into small balls and gently press them from the top. Dust the keftedes with flour (shaking off any excess) to remove the excess flour. Fry the keftedes in hot oil, adding them gradually to maintain the oil temperature. Place them on absorbent paper and serve them warm.
Enjoy the delightful combination of flavors and textures as you savor each bite of these Tarako-keftedes. Let the memories and traditions come alive through this exquisite dish.
