ZUCCHINI FLOWERS STUFFED WITH CHEESE AND FRIED

Looking for a tasty and different recipe to impress your friends and family? Try zucchini flowers stuffed with cheese and fried! This recipe combines zucchini flowers with feta and sour cheese from Kimolos, creating a wonderful combination of flavors.


15 large zucchini flowers
150 gr feta cheese
150 gr sour cheese from Kimolos
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh mint
250 gr all-purpose flour
400 gr beer
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt

Directions

Carefully clean the zucchini flowers, removing the small filaments under the flower and the stem.
Then, in a bowl, mix our cheeses and mint.
Take a flower in one hand, open it carefully, and fill it with the cheese mixture using a spoon. Then fold it over to close it, and place it on a plate in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
This time is needed to stabilize the cheese inside the flowers.
While we wait, we prepare the batter. In the flour, add baking powder, salt, and sugar, and then add the beer at the end.
Mix the batter and place it in the refrigerator. (It may need a few more grams of beer, depending on how much the flour absorbs).
In a small pot, heat the oil. Take one zucchini flower at a time and dip it in the batter.
Once golden, remove and place it on a plate over absorbent paper.
