Our ingredients include

280 grams of white wine,

130 grams of vegetable oil,

130 grams of olive oil,

12 grams of salt,

10 grams of sugar,

20 grams of baking powder, and

1 kilogram of all-purpose flour

Directions

In a bowl, combine the oils, wine, salt, and sugar, stirring until the sugar and salt dissolve. Then add the flour and baking powder. Work the dough thoroughly until it no longer forms strands. Allow it to rest for an hour, covered in plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out, and then knead it again. Divide the dough into as many portions as desired for different flavors. In this case, it's divided into four parts: one with crumbled feta cheese, another with a blend of powdered garlic, powdered onion, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper, a third part with herbs like oregano, thyme, and rosemary, and the last part left plain to be topped with sunflower seeds.

If you're incorporating moist ingredients such as spinach, cheese, carrots, peppers, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, or others, you may need to add a little extra flour. If you're creating spice-infused flavors, you might require a touch of water to achieve the right consistency.

Alternatively, if you want to make grissini with sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, oats, or other similar ingredients, have two separate bowls—one with water and the other with the desired ingredient. Dip the dough sticks into the water using your left hand, gently shake off the excess water, and then roll and coat them thoroughly in the ingredient-filled bowl or plate. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the grissini at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) in a fan-assisted oven until they acquire a light golden color. The baking time will vary depending on how thin you shape your grissini sticks.

Get ready to immerse yourself in the delightful crunch and incredible flavors of these homemade grissini. Whether you enjoy them on their own, paired with your favorite dips, or alongside a delectable spread, they are sure to impress. So, get your apron on, gather the ingredients, and embrace the pleasure of creating these irresistible grissini!
