Spicy and flavorful pumpkin pie A dreamy pumpkin pie. Rich, spicy, full, velvety, buttery flavor that will leave an unforgettable taste. Easy to make. And as soon as it sits on the table, it disappears!!! Even for those who don't eat pumpkin, it will become one of their favorite pies.

Our ingredients

1 package of phyllo dough

1 kilogram of grated green pumpkins

½ kilogram of grated orange pumpkin

2 finely chopped leeks

½ bunch of dill

2 tbsp finely chopped mint

150 grams of crumbled smoked feta cheese

250 grams of grated spicy cheese

4 eggs

80 grams of sweet trahana or rice

2-3 tbsp butter for sauteing

100 grams of mixed butter with vegetable oil for brushing

Freshly ground pepper

Directions

In a deep frying pan, melt the butter and saute the leeks, pumpkins, and pumpkin until most of their liquids evaporate. Then add the rice or trahana, dill, and mint. Remove from heat and let it cool and absorb all the liquids. Once it has cooled down, beat the eggs in a bowl, add pepper, and mix them with the remaining ingredients. Next, lay the phyllo sheets halfway down, one by one, after greasing them. Place the filling in the middle and cover it again with the remaining phyllo sheets, brushing generously with oil in between. Lightly score our pie. Bake at 170°C for 30-40 minutes until it turns golden brown!!
