What can I say about this dish... the title says it all... my favorite little shrimps with an aromatic sauce that enhances their delicate flavor!!! Give them a try!
Ingredients:
12 medium-sized shrimp
2 cloves of garlic,
? cup olive oil
50g ouzo (Greek anise-flavored liqueur)
30g butter
Finely chopped parsley
Clean the shrimp, removing the shells and deveining them. In a pan, heat the olive oil and saute the whole garlic cloves. Once the oil is infused with garlic flavor, add the shrimp and saute them for 1-2 minutes, just until they start to turn color. Remove the garlic cloves, deglaze the pan with ouzo, let the alcohol evaporate, reduce the heat, and then add the butter. Close the lid and gently shake the pan to allow the shrimp to soak up the flavors and the sauce to thicken. Using tongs, transfer the shrimp to a platter, pour the sauce over them, and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
