Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen calamari
  • 300g cooked rice noodles (immerse the noodles in boiling water for one minute until softened)
  • 1 finely chopped carrot
  • 1 small dry onion, finely chopped
  • 1 chopped zucchini
  • 1 chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 small potato, finely chopped
  • 1 chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 70g teriyaki sauce
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Directions

Cut the calamari into thin slices (rings). In a pan or wok, saute the vegetables in sesame oil. Then add the calamari and saute for a few minutes until any excess liquid evaporates. Next, add the oyster sauce and teriyaki sauce. Stir for a minute and then add the rice noodles. Mix all the ingredients together and serve, garnishing with sesame seeds.

Tips:

  • Pay attention to the size of the vegetable cuts. The carrot and potato should be smaller than the other vegetables to ensure they cook evenly and don't remain raw.
  • You can julienne the vegetables (thin strips) for a more visually appealing dish that cooks uniformly.
  • If you don't have sesame oil, you can substitute it with a small amount of vegetable oil.
