Our Ingredients:
• ½ cup mussels
• ½ cup clams
• 1 large onion, finely chopped
• ½ cup scallops
• 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
• ½ cup mild mustard
• 1 cup white wine
• Salt, pepper, and oregano
• Finely chopped parsley
We clean the shells, thoroughly removing any foreign bodies and scrubbing them well to ensure their cleanliness. In a large saucepan, we saute the onion, then add the garlic until it becomes soft. Next, we add the shells, deglaze with the wine, and incorporate the mustard. Once they start to simmer, we close the lid and let them cook for 3-5 minutes.
Opening the lid, we sprinkle parsley and oregano, season with freshly ground pepper, and add a pinch of salt. We remove any closed shells. Finally, we serve the dish garnished with a sprinkle of parsley.
Note: Be careful with the mustard, as it should be used sparingly to avoid overpowering the delicate flavors of the shells.
