An easy and well-known recipe, satisfying and quick, that we love and prefer not only for its deliciousness but also for how impressive it becomes, especially when you're short on time and want to treat your loved ones!
Our ingredients:
500g pasta of your choice (personally, I prefer tagliatelle)
250g smoked salmon, sliced
3-4 fresh shallots, white part only
A drizzle of olive oil
2 tbsp capers
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
? bunch of dill, finely chopped
? cup vodka
400g heavy cream
100g grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper
Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta cooking water.
In a deep pan, saute the fresh shallots and capers in a little olive oil. Then, add the garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Immediately after, add the smoked salmon and deglaze with vodka.
Allow the alcohol to evaporate for a minute, then add the heavy cream, the reserved pasta cooking water, and the Parmesan cheese.
Simmer gently for 4-5 minutes. Just before removing the sauce from the heat, add the dill. Pour the sauce over the cooked pasta and mix well.
Serve with freshly ground black pepper.
