With fresh mussels, sliced calamari, and plump shrimp taking the spotlight, this recipe is a true flavor experience. Tender mussels, individual pieces of calamari, and succulent shrimp are served atop a bed of pasta, while the taste of the seafood is enhanced by the presence of fragrant tomatoes and aromatic herbs.

Here are our ingredients:
• 500g fresh mussels (cleaned, debearded, and scrubbed with a brush)
• 2 calamari, sliced
• 200g fresh shrimp (peeled, deveined, with heads and tails removed)
• 3 ripe tomatoes, finely chopped without seeds
• 1 shot of ouzo
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 1 finely chopped onion
• A handful of parsley
• 1 packet of pasta of your choice
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Olive oil
In a pot, boil the pasta according to the package instructions.
In another pot, saute the onion in olive oil, then add the garlic. Add the calamari and shrimp and saute lightly. Deglaze with ouzo and allow the alcohol to evaporate.
Using a slotted spoon, remove the calamari and shrimp from the pot. In the same pot, add the mussels and tomatoes. Cover and cook over high heat. After 2-3 minutes, open the lid and gently shake the pot to ensure all the mussels open. Remove any mussels that remain closed. Add back the calamari and shrimp, then add the cooked pasta.
Season with salt (if needed, as mussels usually release enough salt) and freshly ground pepper. Drizzle with a little olive oil and allow the pasta to absorb the sauce.
Serve in plates, sprinkled with chopped parsley.
