A variation of the beloved cheese salad is one with Florina peppers. I've encountered it in many versions, with paprika, various herbs, nuts, and more. Here we have one of the classic spicy cheese salads that you can change or enrich according to your preferences and imagination!

Ingredients:

  • 400g crumbled soft feta cheese
  • 2 Florina peppers, roasted and peeled
  • 150g sheep yogurt
  • 50g olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 hot chili pepper

Directions

  1. Roast the peppers on the grill and peel them.
  2. In a blender, add the peppers, olive oil, chili pepper, and oregano, and blend until smooth.
  3. Then add the crumbled feta cheese and yogurt.
  4. Mix all ingredients together.
  5. You can leave the cheese crumbles as they are or blend them with the rest of the ingredients.
  6. If you don't like it spicy, you can omit the chili pepper and oregano and use sweet paprika instead.
  7. If using store-bought jarred peppers, make sure to drain them well to remove excess liquid.
  8. Try the cheese salad in sandwiches, sauces, as a base for dressings, and more.
