Combined with ginger, carrots, and celery, this soup becomes a proper shield for our bodies, offering energy, rejuvenation, warmth, and protection against infections and colds. It's worth mentioning that this soup is also suitable for weight loss, as all its ingredients have fat-burning properties.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cabbage, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 leek, finely sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 150g grated celeriac
  • 2 tomatoes, deseeded and blended
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • ? teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

In a deep pot, lightly saute the onion and leek. Then add the garlic, carrot, celeriac, ginger, celery, and cabbage. Let them soften, and then add the blended tomatoes, water, and spices. Reduce the heat and simmer for about twenty minutes. Serve optionally with an extra sprinkle of boukovo on top.
