Chicken Pie with Vegetables and Cheese

Our ingredients:

1 kilogram boiled chicken, shredded

1 package of country-style or filo pastry sheets

1 green pepper, finely chopped

1 red pepper, finely chopped

1 yellow pepper, finely chopped

1 package of button mushrooms

1 onion, finely chopped

1 zucchini, finely chopped

200g crumbled feta cheese

Vegetable oil for the pastry sheets

1 egg

Salt, pepper,

nutmeg, sweet paprika

Directions

Take the boiled chicken and debone it. Then, shred it into thin pieces. In a deep saucepan, saute the onion together with all the vegetables. Next, add the chicken, season with salt and pepper, add our spices, and set it aside. Then, add the cheese, mix well, and set it aside. Take a baking dish, grease it, and start layering our pastry sheets. Place half of them at the bottom and lightly brush each sheet with oil. When we have placed half of them, pour the filling evenly, and continue with the remaining sheets using the same process. Finally, brush the last sheet with oil, score it, and sprinkle it with some water. Bake our pie at 180°C (356°F) for exactly one hour on the bottom heat.
