Sausages with leeks and potatoes in the oven

Today we present you with a wonderful recipe for a winter dish that will delight you. The combination of leeks, sausages, and potatoes creates an amazing flavor that will captivate you. The sweetness of the leeks, the rich taste of the sausages, and the delightful potatoes harmonize perfectly, while the mustard adds a touch of spicy flavor. This dish is ideal for cold winter days, and you will definitely make it again and again because you will love its taste!


Our ingredients:
• 4 pieces of spicy sausages with leeks, sliced
• 1 kilogram of potatoes
• 500 grams of leeks, sliced
• 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
• Homemade vegetable broth
• Olive oil
• 2-3 tablespoons of mustard
• Salt, freshly ground pepper, thyme
• 2 tablespoons of flour
• Some grated cheese (preferably smoked) and thyme for garnish.

Directions

In a saucepan, boil the whole potatoes, cleaned, for 8-10 minutes. In another saucepan, saute the leeks with a little olive oil, then add the garlic, and after it softens, pour in the vegetable broth until the leeks are covered and about two fingers above them.
Lower the heat, season with salt and pepper, and let them simmer. While the leeks are simmering, lightly saute the sausages in a frying pan.
Once my leeks are done, I mix mustard with a little water and flour in a bowl and pour it over the leeks. I stir and let it simmer for another two boils. I remove the leeks from the heat.
Then I take the boiled potatoes, slice them, and layer the corners and the flatter slices on the bottom of my baking dish. I pour a generous layer of leeks over my potatoes.
Then I place the sausages in between the potatoes, alternating them. I leave space in the middle to add the remaining leeks. I sprinkle freshly ground pepper on top, add grated cheese, and thyme. I place my baking dish in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius until it acquires a golden-brown color.
